Coach Molly Miller is building a relentless culture at Arizona State University

When Coach Molly Miller stepped into Arizona State University, she wasn’t just taking over the women’s program. Almost 300 wins deep in her career, Miller brings a blueprint rooted in grit, urgency, and accountability. From her first day she made it clear, this rebuild is about working.

“We want good basketball players, but the character of the kids that we’re bringing in to set the culture is probably check box number one for me.”

Her focus is bigger than box scores. She’s looking for wins in every space – the classroom, the community and building a culture where every rep counts.

Inside that system, every stat counts. It’s no surprise that she’s leaning into performance tech and data driven coaching. The goal isn’t just to play hard but also to play smart, practice efficiently, and build players who understand exactly where they’re winning and where they need to level up.

“It’s just things we see as coaches are now being backed up by the data and the analytics. That’s really hard to argue with. So you can be subjective and objective at the same time.”

Miller’s vision isn’t just about the season ahead. It’s about building something that lasts. We’re proud to back that kind of leadership. Watch the full video to see how ASU is setting the tone for what’s next. Her message is simple: if you’re not watching this team, you should be.
