Niagara University Women’s Basketball Adopts ShotTracker’s Scout Intelligence Platform

Purple Eagles will implement Scout to give coaching staff natural-language access to performance data and video

Overland Park, KS. (October 16, 2026) – ShotTracker, the basketball analytics and video platform trusted across DI, today announced a partnership with Niagara University Women’s Basketball. The partnership will see the program implement ShotTracker’s Scout technology, giving its coaching staff a way to query performance data and video using natural language or voice commands.

Niagara will use Scout to surface specific plays, analyze trends across its own team or opponents, and generate insights based on factors like lineup, play type or game situation to support scouting and game planning.

“Partnering with ShotTracker gives our program another valuable resource to support the development of our student-athletes,” Niagara University women’s basketball head coach Tiara Johnson said. “The technology provides us with objective data and immediate feedback that can enhance how we teach and evaluate not only our team development, but also our individual development. Our goal is to give our players every opportunity to understand their game, improve their performance, and continue growing both individually and as a team.”

This gives coaching staff direct, conversational access to the data and video already available to the program, without needing to dig manually through film or spreadsheets.
