Davidson Women’s Basketball Partners with ShotTracker to Connect Practice Tracking, Live Game Analytics and Scouting Intelligence

Overland Park, KS. (October 14, 2026) – ShotTracker, the basketball analytics and video platform trusted across DI, today announced a partnership with Davidson Women’s Basketball. The partnership will see the program implement ShotTracker’s Helix, Pulse, Scout and ShotTracker Go technologies, bringing player tracking, live game analytics and natural-language scouting tools into a single platform.

Davidson will deploy Helix in practice to track player and ball movement, Pulse during games to deliver real-time analytics and video to the bench and Scout to let staff query that data and film using natural language. ShotTracker Go provides a mobile platform to support player development outside of team practices.

“At Davidson, one of our core standards is to be the best at getting better,” Davidson women’s basketball head coach Gayle Fulks said. “That means being intentional about how we develop, how we evaluate ourselves and how we turn information into action. Our partnership with ShotTracker gives our players and coaches better tools to understand where we are, measure our growth and attack the areas that can move us forward. We’re excited about how this can help us get better every day.”

Together, the systems carry performance data from practice through games and into scouting, while giving players their own way to track development between sessions.

Helix uses sensors embedded in the basketball and worn by players, along with an AI-powered camera system installed in the practice facility, to track player and ball movement in real time. The system generates 70+ advanced performance metrics, giving coaches detailed insights to inform player development, practice planning and pre-game preparation.

Pulse enables coaches and video coordinators to ingest live broadcast feeds during games, delivering real-time analytics and synchronized video directly to the bench. This allows coaches and team staff to quickly review plays, identify trends and make in-game adjustments with immediate access to both data and film.

Scout serves as the intelligence layer across the platform, allowing staff to query performance data and video using natural language or voice commands. Coaching staff can surface specific plays, analyze trends across their own team or opponents, and generate insights based on factors like lineup, play type or game situation to support scouting and game planning.

ShotTracker Go extends player development beyond team practice with a mobile platform that lets coaches assign workouts and players track their progress. It gives athletes a personalized dashboard to monitor their own stats and compete with teammates for added motivation.
